At Lowton Church of England High School we are courageous advocates for the common good, locally, nationally and globally.

2022 - 2023
- Oct 22 - During Harvest we collected food for Atherton and Leigh Foodbank. As a school community we donated 257 kilos of food
- Dec 22 - we held a Christmas themed non-uniform day and raised £955.51. The money was split between the Atherton & Leigh Foodbank and The Epiphany Trust
- Feb 23 – we held a loose change collection for the Turkey & Syria Earthquake Appeal which raised £352
2021 - 2022
- Sept 2021 – During Harvest we collected food for Atherton and Leigh Foodbank. As a school community we donated 430Kg of food, providing 200 meals for people in food poverty in our community.
- December 2021 - we held a non-uniform day & other fundraising activities for Wigan & Leigh Hospice. As a school community we raised £2,741,74
- December 2021 – the Message Bus visited the school and worked with some of our students along with the PAIS team for Christ Church.
- March 2022 - A group of students built hedgehog boxes in a joint Eco project with Christ Church Pennington.
- On Thursday 31st March we held a Blue and Yellow Themed Non-Uniform Day and a moment of reflection to raise money for the Epiphany Trust who are supporting Ukrainian Refugees in Romania. We raised £1731.51. Staff also donated items for Ukraine to support an appeal that was organised by St Mary Church Leigh.
- May 2022 - during Christian Aid fortnight we held a loose change collection within our form groups and raised £274
