Female TA2 – Personal Assistant (Genuine Occupational Requirement)

Required for 1st September 2020
Reporting to: SENDCo
Hours of work 27.5 hours per week 8.30am to 2.50pm (non-negotiable)
Term Time plus 1 training day in September
Salary Range: G3 (NJC pt 5-8 pro rata)
This equates to £11,043 to £11,490 p.a. (April 2020 pay award pending)

We are seeking to appoint a female Personal Care Teaching Assistant to join the team of Teaching Assistants in our Special Educational Needs department. The role will primarily consist of supporting a student who has physical disabilities. This will involve supporting the student in all areas of school life to ensure that they are able to fully access everything our school has to offer. This will include providing in-class support and support around the school site, as well as intimate personal care and some manual handling.
