Teaching Assistant – TA2 – Required for September 2024

Part time – working between 27 to 32.5 hours\week

Hours of work will be one of these shifts: by agreement

8.30 am – 3.30 pm (32.5 hrs\week)

8.00 am – 3.00 pm (32.5 hrs\week)

8.30 am – 2.50 pm (27 hours\week)

Monday – Friday, Term time plus one INSET Day

Salary Range: £16,787 - £17,351 (based on 32.5hrs\wk)

Grade G3 NJC Pt 3 - 5

At the heart of the job, you will be a committed and caring person who, as a teaching assistant, will support students with barriers to learning on a one to one basis, in small groups, in or out of the classroom.

Invigilator

Our Invigilators work on a casual basis during exam seasons when required by the School. The number of hours of work available for each period of exams across the year will vary and cannot be guaranteed but are offered out fairly to our pool of invigilators. 

Salary: Grade G3 NJC Pt 3 - 5   £11.79\hr

We are a school that places the quality of learning at the heart of everything we do.  We have an opportunity for a dynamic, caring and dedicated individual to join our Invigilator team in supporting our young people to realise their full potential.  Invigilators create the conditions for our students to perform at their very best in their exams by overlooking, assisting and ensuring exams run as smoothly as possible. 

The role of an Invigilator is highly regulated as Invigilators must ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions.  Full training will be provided and we are a very welcoming and supportive department where teamwork is at our core.  

The successful candidate will benefit from a strong induction programme which will be tailored to their professional needs and experience.
